2. Dirk painted me a few swipes of the green color that my daughter who shall remain nameless (for now) talked me into. I knew the instant it was up that we had made a $250 mistake on that one, but not as big a mistake as it would have been to go through with it just because we already had the paint. So if you think you'd like five gallons of Green Tea Leaves and you know where I live, come on by. Half price :-)
I did absolutely love the color family, just want it a couple shades lighter and I will be very happy. Celadon will do just fine, thank you.
3. I instantly LOVED the red wall in the kitchen/breakfast area where we never eat breakfast (okay, but only people under 12). This fact gave me confidence that my instinct in #2 is valid...if I had instantly hated ANY non-beige color then I'd have wondered about my sanity and I would have believed that yes, Christine and I have both been terminally infected with the base-housing-because-we'll-tell-you-what-one-color-you-absolutely-love syndrome. But the fact that I fell in love with the red tells me that there IS hope for this palette-challenged woman and that maybe I hated the green because it just isn't right for me!
Stay tuned...
