Exciting weekend here at Granny's House. We're getting ready for the Monday arrival of the Virginia caravan with all the elves and their parents. Grocery shopping, cleaning, pillow hunting, baby paraphernalia gathering -- all are proceeding at a near frantic pace today. It's a real-life retelling of our favorite children's book, The Relatives Came.
(If you've never had the pleasure of lying out on the floor and reading and looking at the pictures in this book with your kids, what are you waiting for? If you have a family like this it will make you howl with recognition, and even if you don't, it will, for a few minutes, make you think you do and plan for the day when you might. Delicious...)
