The rain outside has matched my mood. It's been a hard day, sitting here at home while my daughters, both biological and "adopted", are at the WholeHearted Mother Conference. Year after year, the conference has ministered to me in my walk as a homeschooling mom. And I've seen it become the event that so many in our group savor and look forward to as well, giving me multiplied joy...
The silver lining is that I've been able to use some of the hours today to pray for Sally as she speaks, and to pray for the band of moms from San Antonio who attended. I believe that God has spoken to each mother, and that what they've heard will accompany them home as they return to mother with whole hearts. Much as I'd like to have been there, they don't need me for that :-)
