Sarah Palin has made it a great night for women. She has come across as competent and knowledgeable without sacrificing a bit of her personality, her femininity, or her sense of humor. Tonight she didn't have to hit it out of the park; she just had to prove that she could stand toe-to-toe with a Washington insider and keep from getting knocked down. She has MORE than done that. Republicans should be breathing a big sigh of relief tonight and giving thanks for a great partner for John McCain.
